He holds a joint Ph.D. from the University of Bologna (Italy) and the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He is a Professor of Tax Law and Vice-Dean of International Relations at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and visiting professor at the Vienna University for Business and Economics (WU, Austria). He is also member of the Brussels bar (Of Counsel, Liedekerke). His areas of interest cover International and European tax law, as well as the comparative and constitutional aspects of fiscal federalism and regional integration and of the interaction between tax systems and public policies. He joined the research group on Tax Governance: International Standards, Patriotisms and Exiles.
