Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, having taught various curricular units on the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Master's and PhD programmes. He was also Professor of the Degree in European Studies at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (2019-2022) and Lecturer at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (2002-2007).

Scientific Advisor to the Bissau Faculty of Law in Guinea-Bissau (2022-2024).
Author of books and articles, particularly in the areas of European Union Law, Economic Law and Public Finance.
