International Conference on Citizenship and Fiscal Education

CIDEEFF and OTOC are organizing an International Conference on Citizenship and Fiscal Education on November 23 to be held at the Congress Centre in Lisbon.
This is a pioneering initiative in Portugal that will address topics related to the increasing demand of internally cementing a society where the money is channeled through the taxes paid by the citizens.
The event consists of presentation of the program "Citizenship and Fiscal Education" along with the release of one of the three books on the same theme, addressed to children attending the first cycle of education, explained in a simple language while focusing on the ABC’s of taxes.
The manuals are written by reputable experts in the field namely - Clotilde Celorico Palma, a university professor at the School of Accounting and Administration in Lisbon (ISCAL), Ana Maria Rodrigues, a university professor at the Faculty of Economics in (FEC) and Cidália Mota Lopes, a university professor at Coimbra’s Business School (ISCAC).
With this project, the Order aims to reach the general population and in particular, the younger generation.
