Ist IDEFF/Almedina Tax Conference- Tax Law in Times of Crisis

Tax Law is one of the branches of legal science that has developed most in recent years, both in terms of its conceptual domain, and in terms of its forensic practice and consultancy.
It is also an area where authors, interpreters and enforcers of the Law are constantly questioned by the challenges resulting from the erosion of national sovereignty, changing economic conditions and financial policies which are often contradictory in their objectives.
The organizers of the conference have selected a set of themes that will enable it to encompass the overall tax issues of the present time.
They have also invited an exceptional group of academics, experts working for the Tax Authorities, lawyers and consultants to an initiative that will mark the current fiscal year.
We therefore welcome all who are willing to devote two days of intense work to deepening their knowledge in the field of taxation.
