On 6-8 June, 2012, IDEFF organized the "EU Tax Policy Conference”, under scientific coordination by Dr. Rita de la Feria, and where prominent academics and players with strong influence on the current international tax policy design, discussed the hot topics of that policy.
Mr. Paulo Núncio, Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs, the vice-rector of the Univ. of Lisbon, Prof. Dr. António Vasconcelos Tavares, IDEFF's President, Prof. Dr. Eduardo Paz Ferreira, Dr. Rita de la Feria, Senior Researcher of the Oxford Centre for Business Taxation and visiting Professor at IDEFF, and IDEFF's Vice-President, Prof. Dr. Ana Paula Dourado, welcomed the speakers and participants.
The Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs explained the context and the main features of the Portuguese Tax Policy in the current fiscal crisis.
