Call for Papers: VIII Jean Monnet Network Workshop - BRIDGE WATCH in Asunción

We are pleased to announce the upcoming VIII Jean Monnet Network Workshop – “BRIDGE WATCH: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America,” a Policy Debate project supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. This event will be hosted in Asunción, Paraguay, in October 2024.

In collaboration with the Latin American Center for European Studies, BRIDGE WATCH invites scholars to submit their scientific articles for our seminar themed “Paths to Democracy: Lessons from the European Union and Latin America”. The Workshop will be held in a hybrid format on October 16, 2024, at the National University of Asunción, Paraguay.

The highest quality paper will be honored with the Jean Monnet BRIDGE WATCH Scientific Merit Award, recognizing significant academic contributions as evaluated by the Organizing Committee. Additionally, selected papers will be featured at the Workshop and may be considered for publication in the Thematic Dossier of the 8th Edition of the Latin American Journal of European Studies (ISSN 2763-8685), subject to a double-blind peer review process.

Interested contributors should submit their manuscripts by 11:59 PM on September 23, 2024, Paraguay time (GMT-4) to submissions@eurolatinstudies.com.
