Debate sessions "5 Questions, 10 Answers"

The CIDEEFF – Research Centre on European, Economic, Financial and Tax Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon is currently organising a series of debate sessions on topics related to national public affairs, entitled "5 Questions, 10 Answers."

This sessions, which will commence on 23 April and conclude on 17 June, will be held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Its aim is to identify and foster critical discussion and reflection on key contemporary issues. For this first edition of the series, the following questions have been defined:

  • What kind of National Health Service do we want? – 23 April

  • What solution for the housing crisis? – 7 May

  • What immigration policy? – 20 May

  • What future for Social Security? – 3 June

  • What direction for an industrial policy? – 17 June

 

Each session will last a maximum of one hour and will begin with two initial interventions – one by each speaker – each not exceeding 15 minutes. These will be followed by a roundtable discussion based on questions posed by the audience and/or the moderator.

 

The first two speakers for the upcoming debate will be announced shortly.
