From April 7th to 9th, 2025, the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina, will host the IX Jean Monnet Network Seminar – BRIDGE WATCH, focusing on “Human Rights, Dignity, and Equality: A Dialogue between Latin America and Europe.”
The event is organized by the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America”, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Over the course of three days, a diverse program of academic activities will take place in a hybrid format, featuring 56 speakers from 13 different countries.

The Workshop will feature the presentation of 22 scientific papers, selected through the Call for Papers, with contributions from authors based in Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Peru, and Uruguay.

About the project
The Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch” seeks to foster collaboration and deepen mutual understanding between the European Union and Latin America. This initiative brings together 14 universities from both regions, under the leadership of the University of Lisbon and the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
